LCG offers a guaranteed stop loss which is a welcomed feature for many traders who prefer to hold positions in volatile times. LCG is a charm for traders who prefer to trade stocks. They offer over 7000 trading instruments with a big variety of stocks. These CFD-stocks are also fairly cheap. Also available – vanilla options for people who want to mix CFD’s with options.
LCG has a rough time finding a credible liquidity provider for crypto currencies it seems like. Thats the reason why they have not offered bitcoin and co. for trading yet. ECN accounts start at 10000$ min. and are thus unavailable for the majority of retail clients.
LCG has 20 years of experience in the CFD & Forex industry, but has only recently become increasingly active in the German-speaking world. LCG offers over 7000 tradable assets including many CFD’s on a future basis. The swap fees are therefore very below average, which is perfect for medium or long-term trading styles. Overall, the cost of trades is slightly below average. Equity CFD’s are very cheap compared to other providers, as there are no additional minimum commissions. The offered software (Metatrader 4 as well as the specially developed LCG-Trader) offers a solid basis for trading beginners and advanced traders. Learning materials, analysis tools & webinars are also available free of charge. Trading videos are also available in English. Negative is to be noted that an ECN account is possible only starting from 10000$ deposit. On request it was confirmed that crypto currencies are planned, but are not yet offered in live trading due to LCG’s high quality standards. In summary, LCG is a very good all-round broker with a very wide product range. (Except for the missing crypto currencies)
CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. 79% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs with this Broker.
